This article explains how to take a screenshot on your computer or mobile device.
Sharing a screenshot helps our Peek.com experiences team better understand any issue or question you’re experiencing. When technical details are visible, troubleshooting is faster and more accurate and in some cases, our team may also send screenshots back to you with step-by-step instructions.
Below are the most common ways to take a screenshot on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
Desktop or Laptop
Windows
While viewing Peek.com, press the Print Screen key on the keyboard.
(sometimes labeled PrtSc, PrtScn, or similar, usually near the top-right of your keyboard).This captures your entire screen immediately.
The screenshot may automatically save to your Pictures > Screenshots folder, your desktop, or another default folder depending on your computer settings.
If nothing appears saved, try pressing Windows Key + Print Screen to force-save a screenshot.
Mac (macOS)
Capture part of your screen
Press ⌘ Command + Shift + 4.
Crosshairs will appear.
Click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
The screenshot saves to your desktop automatically.
Capture your entire screen
Press ⌘ Command + Shift + 3.
The whole screen is captured instantly.
The image saves to your desktop.
Tip: For support issues, sharing the entire screen is often most helpful.
Mobile Devices
iPhone (iOS)
iPhones with Face ID (no Home button)
Press the Side button and Volume Up button at the same time.
The screen flashes to confirm the screenshot.
The image will appear in the Photos app.
iPhones with a Home button
Press the Home button and Side/Top button at the same time.
The screen flashes, and the screenshot saves automatically to Photos.
Android (version 4.0 and above)
Press the Power button and Volume Down button at the same time.
Hold for 1–2 seconds until the screen flashes.

A notification will appear, and your screenshot will save to your Photos, Gallery, or Screenshots folder (depending on your device brand).
